Motion (part II) : "Aristotle and Galilleo"

Aristotle ever said “ the body moved because they were acted upon by a force”. Another Aristotle’s statement was “the body stopped moving when they get tired” this statement very confusing  but, acceptable by most of people. But Galilleo was the one who against his ancestor. Galilleo asked himself “why do the bodies move and why do they stop?”.  He introduced a new term called inertia. Every body has inertia. More mass, more inertia. A havier body has greater inertia due to greater mass, thus it will resist any change to it’s state.

And Galileo started with rolling marble. He found that when he released a marble from high “S” from the first inclined plane. The ball tries to reach the same height on the second inclined plane. He was surprised. Than, he also reduced the angle of the second incline plane. The marble moved further distance in order to reach the same height from where it was relased. The nature loves balanced but, Let we assume how if we reduced the incline plane to zero?

Yes, most of people could answer that,  it will be stop when the ball reached some distance. But why the ball stop? Doesn’t the nature loves balanced?. Let me explain, the ball will stop because of external force like floor friction that opposite the direction of the ball. In case, without any external forces like the ground was frictionless ,the ball should roll on forever with uniform velocity, In order to reach the same heights of second plane. And Newton used Galilleo’s discover and converted into Newton’s three laws of motion. To the next time we will discuss about The Newton’s law of motion.  See you

Motion (part I) : "Speed"

Hay guys in this time I back with some English articles and I’m so sorry if my English is too far from good and perfect hehehe and what I mention in this blog was a physic. But don’t worry I just packed it up with easy and general definition and not incluided the MATH ! hehehehe so let we Start
Before you understanding Motion you have to know what is speed. When body moved they have speeds. Just example when I walk from location A to another location like B. It has distance 5 km,  and I spent 2 hours. Anyone could say that I have speed 2,5 km every hour. Nope, that is average speeds, This gives no information about the jorney at all. You don’t know how my instananeous speed is. Instantaneous speed and average speed are two different.  You can got average speeds when you sum up the journey and instantaneous speed gives you  information about the speed in every moment. Speed is the distance that covered by an object with some interval.

You must be know about race. Let me take the example about Moto GP. Suppose Valentino Rossi starts with a speed of zero, then it can pick up the speed of  200 km/h in just 4 minute. This is what acceleration means. Acceleration is the rate change of speeds. Accleration tells us how quickly the object switches between two speeds.
To the next time we will discuss about how a body can moved?? And our special guest is Aristotle, Galilleo Galilei and Isaac Newton. See you
